Prez, saw your car at WofW today. I assume you avoided having to hand out there. DMVR had a nice booth set up there.

I must have just missed you then. That Blue race car that they were letting kids get in was pretty cool.

On a BMW note I just called EM as my car is running like crap, service engine light soon is on. It is yellow not red so they want my to drive it over there. When I asked about a loaner they said they are out till Monday..... WTF really. That never happened at Ramsey or Karl. I am glad that I paid a premium price for a car with this great warranty and free service/oil change that you only really need once a year if that, and then when it breaks while they will come get it for free but you cant get no loaner because the local dealer does not keep enough on hand. This pisses me off to no end. If it was not a lease I would seriously trade if off today.

Yeh could have been while I was away for a bit. Glad you were able to make it out.

Sorry about your bimmer. What was the issue, have they said yet?

Also don't suppose I could swing by sometime this week and borrow/rent your roller? 285's apparently require just a bit more rolling in the rear to not make any noise.

Yon can use the roller. I have class Tues, Wed & Thursday but Wed and Thur I will probably be home between 5:30-6:30 before going to class.

Brain regardless of where I bought it I would be in the same situation. Have not heard on the car yet.

mmmmm BWMcamino

Get car back tomorrow, all recall stuff. New fuel pump, 3 new injectors and a reflash.

Drove an 06 Saleen S281 Supercraged mustang yesterday. It was ok, better seats then a normal GT, but I have to say for a car that is supposed to have 435+ hp it did not feel faster then my C5, and the ride was about as rough as my STI on coilovers.

You haven't heard? EMC buys the cheaper BMWs, just like Home Depot gets cheaper John Deere lawnmowers than an actual Deere dealership. duh

So I went to pick up my car today, as I walked out I got to watch the shuttle driver back into the Drivers side rear bumper. Nothing worse then watching you baby get backed in to, thought I was going to be sick. Luckily for him there was no damage, not even scuffed. Still I about flipped my lid, got a towel and wiped down the corner for close inspection. Not that the guy is free from blame but the service guy parked it in the most bone headed spot.

Well, we are back from NC after a week of vacation. Saw several lotuses, lambos, ferrari's, s2000's, M3's and 1 Evo IX on the way back to the airport. The weather there is so even tempered - so many people drive their ish year around.

My sister actually joined the BMW clan last year - she has a 328xi wagon. I know it is the slowest of the BMW's and all, but I got to spend a lot of time behind the wheels and even though its an auto, I used the sportshift on it all the time.

I have to say I can tell why the BMW appeals to people, there is something about the car and the brand. I could see myself owning one some day, I think.

EDIT - One of the most common cars out there is the 335i convertible and hardtop convertible. I really like that hardtop convertible option, the car looks good IMHO

Come on now, an ls1 wouldn't make everything better. What does ls1 stand for? Long Stick 1 limp Stick 1 lollipop saliva 1 many possibilities here

LS1 has made BMW's better, though...

LS1 has made many E36 M3's better....

And I'm sure an E92 M3 suspension would make ALOT of cars that house LS1s in them better too. I'm simply saying an LS1 WOULD NOT make EVERYTHING better
