So I purchased a 2011 BMW 335xi a few months back that was in excellent shape. It only had 38k on the clock and I made sure to purchase from CarMax to use their MaxCare warranty (coverage up to 120k).

My front end is experiencing a slight shimmy on highway speeds so I'm looking to take it to a shop. Has anyone had any good experiences with this warranty at local shops? I can bring to dealer or an independent for a deductible. Close to Mystic, CT would be ideal. Thanks

Best bet is calling carmax and speaking to someone who will point out the shops they deal with in your area

Warranty ran me just under $4k. I bought it through CarMax for this very reason. I'm actually thinking about buying a low mileage N54 coupe and doing the same

Just out of curiosity, why not just bring it directly to BMW?

I only know about the CarMax warranty from the Doug DeMuro Range Rover videos, and it seemed like he just took it to his local Range Rover dealership.
