Well, if you beat on it hard enough, even steelies will go. However, that's a pretty ugly sight to see. The wallet of the owner would hurt.....

but I'm not an expert just someone who came across a few threads/posts here and there.

Neez is a high end forged wheel company in Japan. Eisenhaus is the US distributor for said wheels that come from Neez Japan so they call themselves Neez USA. Anyone that distributes Neez wheels in the US most likely goes through Neez USA (Eisenhaus). This brings up the question of can they be trusted. It seems Neez USA is selling a few wheels in offsets/finishes that Neez Japan has never heard of which brings it back to the Eisenmann scandal.

Either way, your best bet to give you piece of mind that you have real Neez is to buy straight from Neez Japan. I think that is what "Kev" did for his QD7's.

me and elmariachi just had a chat about NEEZ earlier. WE BOTH ARE super anxious to find out what's in their closets from Eisenhaus to explain NEEZUSA and NEEZ JP.

But as of now, I am satisfied, elmariachi is satisfied, and I'm sure Tam is also satisfied. They are SUPER light (andrew you can ask jerry and jason), they are seemingly strong and look absolutely stunning (although even if it was fake, i wouldn't be able to tell by the pair of naked eyes I have). Also, I've spoke to Eric about this when I was over at SPP, he says he has no idea what's going on, BUT as of right now, nothing seems to be wrong with the wheels. Just that fishy suspicion from the Exhaust and what not...

That was the only thing that kept me from believing these are Authentic.

By no means I'm saying the NEEZ rims that Eisenhaus sells are fake.

However, according to the website that I quoted (they are one of the distributors of NEEZ rims), there had been NEEZ replica sold in Japan as the real deal. They listed the ways to tell whether your wheels are the real or not. Also, with the Eisenmann scandals at hand, one can't help but to question him/herself whether these wheels they sell are the real deal.

On top of the exhaust scandal, Eisenhaus / NEEZ USA's claims that they get the wheels in finishes other than the Hyper Black / Hyper Silver / 3D Polish offered by NEEZ (see color swatch here: http://www.neezusa.com/images/colors.jpg), it just sounds fishy. The other thing is that they completely denied the existence of the +35 rear offset for the E92, which is very odd as well. I understand they might want to push the sales on their in stock items (i.e. the +25 offset). However, when a customer specifically asked for the +35 offset and gave the reference from neez.co.jp, it shows them that the customer has already done his homework. Their blatant lie left some really bad taste in mouth......

Again, just IMHO and YMMV.

Just because it's forged and it's NEEZ does not mean it will not bend if you hit a huge pothole going 80mph+, but it may have saved the owner from a broken rim and other major damage.
