Who is running Formula 1 Pinnacle tint?

For those with F1, what does the upper part of the rear window look like with tint? That is, in the area with all the dots, does the tint cover these or is it patchy in any way?

I think I got a very average install (with Madico, btw). On my car, the tint does not uniformly cover the upper part of the rear window.

My dot matrix looks good, not patchy at all.

Good to know, thanks. I'll be returning to my installer. If he cant get it right, there is an F1 tint installer north of Chicago, Shady Days, I can go to.

I got F 1 Pinnicle tint. Its their top of the line tint, that is why I paid as much as I did.

heard ppl had some problems wit their tints cuz of the dots
does having the F1 types fix this?

imo anyting over 180 is being ripped off for tints

Mines good, I just got a tint ticket, they will do 80 for removal and retint my fronts for F1 pinnacle. But i paid a little under 300 all around over 2 years ago. Sounds fair to me.

Do they tint the windows all the way to the edge and how about the bottom? Do you remember or know if they removed the door panels to tint below the window line? Lastly, how do the dot matrixs look on the back window? Can you share some details or take some pictures of how they actually did the back window? Thanks.

yes, no they do not, great to me. If you are really that worried about the dot matrix, scrap them off. the coupes usually have a bigger issue with that, I like mine just fine.

That is about what I paid.

It is the best tint out there IMO. No scratching or any issues. Had it for about 4 years so far.

F1 pinnacle 1 is the best tint hands down. my whole family uses it and if there is anything wrong with it it has lifetime warranty. if i find the littlest bubble i could take it in and they would re do it no charge. it also makes a world of a difference with heat and doesn't interfere with electronics at all.
