I hope he does it, however I think everyone is putting too much pressure on him. He`s a young guy who pushes as hard as he can all the time, which has brought some much needed excitement to the sport but I hope he doesn`t end up having a big crash.

By no means do I feel I have to support hamilton just because he is british, even though I am as well.
I agree that its more about the driver's skills and talents for me. Before hamilton, I was happily supporting Schuhmacher over Coulthard and Hill..

But honestly, how does Lewis not deserve to win!?
Perhaps carlos you have just pointed out a major flaw in the F1 pointing system but more realistically hamilton is 7 points clear for a reason.

You can blame chance, faulty engines, bad weather etc... all you want as the article does but lewis is 7 POINTS CLEAR. It is that exact list, which makes motorsport so exciting.. The Unpredictability - just as you have in the WRC, Nascar, Touring

Being totally honest, I have never met you in real life and you seem like a funny, cool sorta guy. But if you may have a bias against a person, car, whatever..you should try harder to not make it so blatantly obvious in your threads

Much love

TSL

Lewis is still far from being a complete driver (Not the quickest this year, should have won less races than Massa and made far more mistakes) . I dont rate Massa at all. He has improved this season but he is not really world championship winning material, The season however has unfolded in a way which has enabled him to challenge, The fact he has run lewis to the wire is quite funny for me. If Lewis was this megastar he would have walked it, but far from it. In reality Its been Massa's year and he should have wrapped it races ago.

And Massa is 2nd rate IMHO.

Lewis will win today, its stacked in his favour. But some of you will choose to forget that he wasnt the main man alll year, I certainly wont forget for the rest of my life.

Good luck to Massa.

so far 2008

Lewis 7 poles to Massa 6

Lewis 1 Fastest lap to massa 2

Lewis 5 wins to massa 5

Massa should have won hungary and singapore also.

Carlos - i love you buddy and you know that but friendship aside sometimes you just do yourself no favours by being so forthright with your views and opinions. Everyone has a right to their opinion and to express it - there will be some that totally agree with you and some that downright dont - but its the way in which you make your very bold statements that i think winds some people up. Im only saying this because i genuinely like you a lot and i dont like seeing you put yourself in the direct line of fire!!
In my opinion as an average guy who loves his cars and loves motorsport, but who doesnt know the full ins and outs of racing craft and racing politics (unlike you who suggests you seem to do) etc, just someone who enjoys watching exciting racing - i feel Lewis deserves to win as much as any other driver in contention. I say this because the points table says just that, regardless of tactics, luck etc. Im not a football fan at all and i genuinely think England are pretty shite most of the time - but if it was the FA cup final and it was England versus whomever, regardless of how shite England are/were, got away with fouls they shouldve been booked for, were awarded penalties that probably werent etc etc - i would STILL want them to win and lift the cup, end of. Same with Lewis - as a red blooded porn star im jealous as fook that he hangs out of the back of a pussy cat doll most nights - but i still want him to win, end of (mainly because i know ive got a 10" c**k and he probably only has a pencil dick!!)
Looking forward to seeing your ugly gurning mug on Dec 5th and i will give you a good monkey scrub on the head and a couple of chinese burns too!!
COME ON LEWIS YOU LITTLE F**KER - WIPE THE SMILE OFF THOSE BLOODY ITALIANS!!

To all of us on this forum this all sounds like your a little jealous that his Daddys' money ran out and you couldn't carry on your karting career.

The chip on your shoulder is so big I'm surprised you don't need a cabriolet .....

Tell me, am I right ? am I ? am I right ?

But he didn't and that's the nature of racing - surely you of all people here should understand that?

I think you also need to look back at some of the past F1 Title winners........did they really deserve it???

At the end of the day the Title winner is the one who collects the most points - FULL STOP. If a driver has "bad luck" because of engine failure, crashes, pit blunders etc then unfortunately that is all part and parcel of competing in this championship.....Driver skill alone does not win you the F1 Title.

I agree with not necessarily having to back someone just because of patriotism, I must admit that I was also a big Schumacher fan as quite simply he was head and shoulders above the opposition. He was also subject to a lot of negative publicity but he always came back stronger, and his air of Arrogance was just about right without being too OTT.

As always the two faced British Press has done LH no favours and I think that the race hate campaign that he has had to put up with is an absolute disgrace. What happened in Spain is disgusting and these websites that have popped up Anti Hamilton just because of his colour are also a disgrace. Try being that age, with that much talent but with that much pressure then you will realise just how well the young kid has done. To be twice in a position of being able to claim the F1 Title is no FLUKE.

I sincerely hope Hamilton wins.

Jules.

Well as most of you know I am not a fan of F1, I much prefer the excitment of the moto gp, motorbike racing is just more intense and interesting and the smaller championships that create much more excitment in what I regard as real cars, not go karts on speed but thats for another discussion.

Lewis Hamilton - not sure of him, don't know if I really like him or not, he's done well as have all the drivers competing in F1. I don't tend to support the British just because they are British, if he puts in a good race, he deserves to win, if the pressure is too much for him he doesn't, simple as.

And just to remember as said before it takes more than just an excellent driver to win the GP, the car and team are just as important.

Good Luck Hamilton and Massa, may the best man win

...and as for you lot where is you team spirit, I know none of their drivers can win the championship but with no MG team, Come on BMW

You need to be really careful what you are saying

Have you not noticed that there is a massive cattle market of Celebs who have been on the F1 scene for all of these years pre Hamilton??? Wake Up Carlos.....F1 carries more Celeb baggage than any other Sport. So what if some none white Celebs have now jumped on the F1 bandwagon......

Seems like your motive for not liking Hamilton is coming out.......it's not pretty.

So .. according to your last post :

"I am not Jealous, no not at all - but I can see why some are rightly jealous.

Lewis has a small willy. Pretty girls are stunts.

He gets the attention because of his ethnicity".

This is passing from farce to distasteful

Please, listen to the advice of your friends.

D.

On the head son! Surely that's what ALL sport should be about. Excitement!! Take away the the excitement and you have a Stoke FC game (Joke! ).

On top of the patriotism, that's what keeps me interested. I still think the whole F1 circus is a corrupt charade and that Hamilton's win is tainted with interfering politics, but take away exciting young talent (in any sport) and you're left with nothing.

Carlos. I agree with Jude... It doesn't take much reading between the lines and it does seem we're getting to the reason; It's not just ugly and disgusting, but it's probably cost you personally.
