How long?
Hey guys/gals
new here and have a few questions and i hope you guys would be kind enough to answer them. I would highly appreciate it. Im planning on ordering an 09 335i coupe fully loaded with all the bells and whistles in March. My question is how long will it take for me to recieve the car and will i have to pay for it before or after the delivery? I really wanted to get Sparkling graphite but found out BMW doesnt offer it any more, so my question is how close is Space Gray Metallic to Sparkling Graphite? |

I suggest searching, before other users flame you for not even trying.

6-8 weeks from order to receive to east coast, add 2 more weeks for west coast.
A deposit will suffice at ordering, and full payment at delivery.

i wanted graphite and ended up ordering space grey, it is basically quite a bit lighter, esp. under strong lighting conditions, depends what u want.
but search through the photo threads, you'll find lots of space grey photos and my advice is go see one at the dealership |

I strongly suggest the OP see each color in person prior to ordering--it can be different than from a catalog (arctic is green, it looks gray to me in a catalog). That's the best way to compare. In late 2k6 it was difficult because every E92 on the lot was space gray. Now, virtually every color should be in stock or a customer car in service with the respective color, so it should not be hard to park two next one another and compare.

Space gray does not compare in any way to sparkling graphite. Sparkling graphite is such a great color and I really don't understand why it was dropped. It was basically the E90 flagship color in all of their print ads and commercials.
IMO I'd take look at Montego if I were you, that is if you even would consider blue. Space gray just seems extremely bland to me, it has no pop or wow factor.
