330D cutting out at idle / reverse gear

Hi folks!

2008 M57 330d auto
Strange issue that has arisen recently. I took the car for a gearbox service & stage 3 remap. Also engine remap was done at the same time. All done at a reputable well known tuner on the groups. Did the thermostats a couple of days later and all seemed well. A week or so later the issue started..

I drove to work (6 miles) and when i pulled up the car was trying to cut out at idle. I put it in reverse & it cut out. Started back up straight away. It did this for the next few days and then seemed ok. A week later it did it briefly when in traffic but away it went again. Changed the fuel filter & it seemed to have cured it or so i thought! Came back today. I put it in reverse and it started dropping below idle again, eventually did cut out but started up fine. Engine was warm and this was after an hours drive.

No codes, it's been on a run with the tuner and his laptop and everything was healthy on the live data.

Without throwing money at various things in the hope to cure it, has anybody got any ideas?

Appreciate any advice
Thanks.

Hmm, so your tuner declared this anomaly as healthy car?

One thing he can't really have live data is ATM.

Thanks for the reply. Well, he said everything looks healthy when he was doing the tests. He's a reputable guy so I do sort of believe him. Could just be a coincidence.
