Anyone want it and don't want to wait til summer?

I've had it for about a week now, absolutely SICKKK

I smack my self for even thinking of buying a blackberry bold, Apple really solved 90% of problems people were complaining about

Instead of listing the functions it will bring, i'll take some screen shots

Anyone that doesn't know how to take a screen shot with their iPhone, it's home button + power button at the same time (it automatically saves to your camera roll)

ALSO, MMS will not work correctly right away, it requires some serious tweaking in the AT&T billing system because this is not officially out yet, keep in mind, its beta

If you want this now as well, e-mail "viper1887@aol.com" with your UDID and he will add you to the list for only $10 through paypal
(What is my UDID?)

Once he adds you, you will be able to download the 3.0 software here..

Unzip it and save the .ipsw file to your desktop

With your phone plugged in, in itunes, click "option + restore" or in windows I think its (shift + restore)... Click the .ipsw file off your desktop and it will load onto your phone

MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR PHONE BEFORE YOU DO THIS, EVERYTHING WILL RESTORE

i would just very weary of his bro...im a dev for this and as of right now only firmware with registered imei numbers will function properly until the dev team releases one. Plus once you upgrade I believe your baseband is shot...(wont be able to use the phone to make calls if you decide you want to go back to pre 3.0....

As far as being locked to IMEI, I find that hard to believe because Apple doesn't keep track of that, they use serial numbers as well as UDIDs

IMEIs are more geared towards AT&T tracking you personally

if you download the firmware from apple as a registered developer you must give your IMEI number to get your firmware...there a digital signature with that encoded into your firmware...basically when it runs it will check for it, otherwise some features will basically be locked out...I hack stuff as a pass-time so it was kind of easy to figure out...problem with it is i think its also encoded into the baseband somehow...now that is for the iphone dev team to figure out...

I was just wondering because I didn't provide my IMEI at all during the whole process, only UDID (I guess the IMEI could be coded in there, or maybe even connected with the serial number)

What do you propose will happen? It will stop working?

As of now, every feature on the phone works seamless (MMS is a BITCH though)

to my knowledge i thought mms was disabled until at&t decides to allow it through their towers? just kind of hangs for me...unless...hmmm...this dev your getting it from could have rerouted the signal to a 3rd party source to send via cellular data...kind of like swirly mms for those who have jailbroken phones...

if i could figure out how to rerout cellular transmissions i could do it...but i dont know how...if it was only like packet sniffing....i could easily grab a message from someone on aim before it got to the sender, change it and then send it back....it would freak people out....lol

You wanna freak someone out? How about when they call you blocked and it shows their number, that's my favorite.... or how about calling them back from whatever number you want haha

ok so your using another imei....see im a little afraid with doing that only because i tried something similar in college with computers mac address and the motion picture association and the police were at my door one day....

Send you a text message every day that the IMEI you're using isn't compatible with your data plan, also Visual Voicemail does not work

They can't take any legal action, most they could do at a REALLY extreme point is cancel your line
