It's not going to *REALLY* push it and the sub is capable of a lot more power; however, you'll most definitely be able to drive this sub with a 500/1.

i had 500/1 on my 12w7 in ported box it still knockss!! i regret sellin it!! i got a good price on it and sold it for much cheaper. haha

NOO... I just blew my 12 W7 with the 1000/1. The slash amps are underated. the 500/1 will be fine, it pushes out around 600 to 650 rms. The 1000/1 pushes out 1200 RMS, this sub can only handle 750 rms. Dont over power it. The 1000/1 is best paired with the 13.5 W7.
