I have been using the launch control, it works fine for me. It launches from app 5000rpm.
Does the car not launch at all?

So far , ok .
But the DCT tranny doesenīt handle a tune good, The dct software seems to be tuned in for the original power band.
If you raise the torque/hp the down shifts become terrible, you have to go in manual mode to get some decent down shifts.

I still think a torque converter is going to be much more reliable in drag strip launches.

1+
but you do get decent launches if you reduce the power in 1st and 2d gear.

The dealer told me today that they will stop selling the DCT tranny in a near future, instead they will use a 8 shift auto with torque converter same as 760Li

You may want to try the latest JB3 software (1.4-beta-something-rev3, I read it is a breakthrough for manual transmissions, very smooth) maybe it can help the DCT too.

The reason DCT "doesn't handle a tune good" is because the JB3 and Procede tuners do not have DCT cars to test the tunes on (my opinion).

Correct.

I don't expect some appropriate/good tune before tuners get DCT cars here in US.
We might see Shiv or Terry releasing their DCT tunes in about 2-3 months I guess.

try this trick
-hold the dtc button for like 5 seconds till the handeling turns off
-put the gear in M1
-press the sport button
-only use your right foot while doing this (the left foot is not needed) , lift your left foot from the brake pedal and smash the acceleration pedal to the floor using the kickdown button and see what happens

I guess your right, Ess tuning had to rewrite the the software in there supercharger kit.

"Our custom DME software has been designed for flawless intergration with the cars OBD system allowing all standard safety and emissions functions to remain. The software has also been designed to allow the OBD system to monitor the superchargers operation and inform the operator of any issues. For cars equiped with DCT we have written specific software to insure a seamless interaction with the engines increased power output."

After so many twisting actions you are probably going to end up in hyperspace.
