I know it may go against the grain for you, but care to elaborate a little further using your own words ?

I assume no more can be said to incriminate - dealer paid but cause could have been something else - like a dyno for example???

For a person spitting blood, he went very quiet.

Plenty more to say, if the fault was a manufacturing defect, or a safety issue.

However, the fact that you aren't saying anything else suggests that this isn't the case.

We'll assume either the dyno place paid, or BMW gave in.

no rust on the car mate apart from its relevant age wear and tear as expected ,BMW fully inspected the car , the flash on the camera showed all the dirt up ,when on the dealers ramps car looked fine thanks.

I also have a fully signed document from BMW to say that the car is in perfect order and no previous accidents or misuse etc.

I want to know if there is a defect with the M3 suspension, as there are with the cracked alloys!...because clearly this is a real safety issue....and should go public if there is a defect with the parts....

My money is on there NOT being an inherent defect..........

I think this thread should be closed as the member would want.

To be fair though, the original thread did generate quite a bit of discussion and speculation and that speculation will still remain if Mikey doesnt tell us what "may" have most likely caused the damage.

If it was previous damage, then I guess a lot of you can rest easy.

If its due to a particular strap down, I guess a fair few of you should be having safety inspections.

If its completely unrelated to either then everyone takes the same risk and no further action is required.
