Who's on the Manon ?

My dealer called today and the scheduled delivery of my car is Wednesday, 10/11/06. That will be 5 days from landing at the port to delivery - pretty good if you ask me! I am about 200 miles from the VPC. I hope that helps others who are waiting for their cars. Keep us updated!

My car still says "en route".....all of you guys that were on the Manon that docked 10/6...does it say your car is at the preparation center?

Yes, as of right now my car is still at the prep center with no specified delivery date. My guess is that there will be no more notification until I get a call from the dealer.

My CA said my car was released to the carrier yesterday and he's been getting cars from the Manon already, but not mine. The port was just around the corner - very frustrating.

Just received this email from my CA

"I talked to our port representative since I sent you the morning e-mail. Your car and 1999 other vehicles were off loaded from the ship today. The ship docked on Friday but the weekend and the "holiday" prevented the off load until today. So hopefully tomorrow we will see a more definite time frame."

Any idea what he is talking about? The tracking site says it was discharged 10/6 at 19:53....

Mine says it was discharged the same time...we are getting so screwed, on the BMW OC my car still says "en route", this is complete BS
Some other people whose cars were on the Manon are getting them this week, wtf

just got the news from my dealer - on the truck pad today, estimated shipping date is the 13th, arrive the 15/16 in Syracuse NY, available for pickup anywhere between the 17-20.

definitely getting shafted here.

black on black, loaded....i was so pumped because i have to make a trip this weekend and thought i'd get it by friday - now its kind of anticlimatic that im gonna have to wait until next week.

what about you? heard anything from your dealer on delivery dates? you might still get lucky if it gets on a truck sooner...

loaded up, can't wait man. I was supposed to go to florida next tues 10/17, plan on canceling it, there is no way I can go down there and not break in that car.
I am supposed to get an update today from my CA...this is the same guy that originally told me 10/1, then 10/5, then this friday, now i am curious what he says

same here, ordered it at the end of july - originally supposed to be here 9/1 (he even said late august was possible). Then the nav delay pushed it out, then the ship took longer than expected, now the car wasnt unloaded when it says it was...i dont know what to believe.

im frustrated but at the same time im so pysched for next week...

Just got an email from my CA - he's been waiting as anxiously as me!

"There is a truck here with a graphite 335i on it. I don’t know if it’s yours yet, but I’m pretty sure it is. I’ll call you as soon as it gets off the truck."

The BMW OC sucks, I just called my dealer, my car just got unloaded, wtf, terrible tracking, it never said it went to the VPC, it still says en route, and the car is at my dealership now
can't wait to pick her up
