Talking alufelgen csl replicas vs vmr vb3?

Looking to buy rims for my new 335i sedan in alpine white...Really like the VB3 19s in supersilver...Also looked at the Alufelgen CSL Replicas and have gotten some good feedback about them..Im a novice when it comes to wheels..I am looking for rims that wont rub and wouldnt mind a lip from a reputable company that stand behind the rims..I am looking for a wheel set with tires in the price range of 2 grans but am willing to stretch..e90 pics would help too..thx & happy 2010 to everyone!!

The VB3s have more concavity but the AluFelgen are more like real CSLs.

There are several threads that discuss the advantages of our CSL over the VMR which you are welcome to check. You are also welcome to check from direct feedback from our customers who speak highly of our product quality and customer service. Our CSL are nearly identical to the OEM wheels and do not suffer from paint chipping or other quality issues. Most importantly our wheels are built using low-pressure cast which makes a stronger and lighter wheel.

Nive, regarding our wheels, in the same size, they have significantly more concavity than the VMR. I don't know where you are getting that the VMR have more concavity. Unless you are speaking of their 19x10" vs our 19x9.5".

Feel free to contact us directly for more information and I`ll be more than glad to.

Regarding Gravity vs Low-Pressure Cast here is a post from one of the threads as a reference.

About our Products:
Our wheels are manufactured in Taiwan by one of Taiwan's most reputable factory which uses only Italian made low-pressure casting machines to manufacture only low-pressure cast wheels as opposed to gravity casting which are inferior in construction. They especialize in the OEM market only and thus carry very stringent quality standards with over 50% of their production reaching the US-market. They carry ISO Certifications, Japan VIA and JWL Certifications and most importantly Germany TüV approval.

From another thread: More Info
The advantages of low pressure die casting process are several :
- higher yield achievable
- reduction of machining costs
- excellent control of process parameters
- good metallurgical quality
- leads to an optimal use of the aluminum
- excellent mechanical and technological properties of the castings.

Disadvantages of gravity die-casting:
- High porosity rate
- High absorption of impurities
- Less dense material which results in a heavier wheel to be able to achieve the required load rating
- Very high process variations which leads to more defective units

In essence, Low-Pressure Cast provides a wheel that is much stronger and lighter. A stronger wheel will be more resistant to bending and by been lighter you`ll improve the performance of your vehicle.

There are also several advantages our CSL wheels have::

- Our wheel concavity reflects a nearly identical face as the OEM CSL
- Our wheel spoke profile is thicker and resembles more the OEM CSL
- Our wheels finish is Silver, as opposed to Hypersilver, which is a closer match to the OEM finish
- Our wheels are powdercoated which is a more durable finish
- Our rear wheel weights only .7lbs more than the OEM CSL (25.5lbs vs 26.2lbs)

Our offsets is also designed exclusively for the BMW E90/E92. Our front offset is 19x8.5ET35 and our rear offset is 19x9.5ET33 or ET30 if you`ll like a more aggressive setup. This setup will allow a 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 to fit perfectly, without rubbing, and flush to the fenders as possible. Our concavity is also optimized for a 19x9.5ET33 wheel which is deeper and more pronounced.

About our Service:
Our customer service ranks #1 among the vendors and our customers can attest to that. Here are a few reviews:

Customer Review LuvMyRide
Customer Review fotios335i
Customer Review thkfast
Customer Review BmwOwnsMe
Customer Review Enrita

Our wheels come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer's defects which includes shipping from and to the customer. Most services issues are taken cared of within the first 24-hours. We also allow our customers to purchase wheels individually and not as a set in case they need to get a replacement. We also provide a recurring customer discount in the event you`ll like to replace your set.

Your are always welcome to contact us directly via e-mail, AIM or PM with any further questions you have regarding our brand.

Alufelgen hands down. Many people think believe just by looking that they are OEM CSL's. However, once I tell them they are reps, their face goes

They are. Instead of calling them "CSL rep's" Alufelgen named them CS7's. There is a reason behind their naming of CS7. I forgot what it is though.

you'll have more options when it comes to size with the vb3's. if u want something exactly like the csl wheel get the alufelgen. if u like the look but dont want to be exact get the vb3's.
