My First Girl With ARMA Supercharger
Well, why this car is pink. That is for my wife and my wife is such a racer.
My friend, his E90 325 has Arma Supercharger. That’s why we choose Arma as well. Take a look the car, it is so pinky actually I do not like it but well that’s my wife car. The kit includes everything, supercharger, brackets, idler pulleys and accessory belts, air filter, boost piping, fuel management unit, fuel injectors, blow off valve, air cool intercooler and ecu. It looks clear and the piping is shining. Blow off valve is cool. I have never seen like this and the sound is loud. I think louder than sqv. Arma guy told to me because arma supercharger produces high flow. I also got the header. Equal length and no cat. Look is just ok but I think how it work is more important for me. Muffler with variable valve. High quality stainless steel construction This valve could be set up by rpm. They recommended to set up 2500rpm. Finally it is complete. It took two days to finish. It is clear and simply. It is test time. My car is E90 318. The arms guys are so professional before we started to install we had a test. 0-100 is 13.70 sec. After is 10.50. Conclusion: I have driven this two month since I had arma supercharger. My feedback is quite, stable and power is good for me because my car only 1.8L engine. The looking is ok but could improve a little bit. The muffler with valve is aggressive and deep. |

it's the horrible english that cracks me up...
not judging - i understand the whole world doesn't know english, it's just 'lol' Engrish *That's a dirty ass car for sticking a supercharger on it. In my opinion and my budget, getting a SC would be a big deal, i'd at least go all out and get the engine bay pressure washed or something before hand - makes for less criticizm i suppose |

100 kilometers = 62.1371192 miles
so basically 0 - 60 in 13 sec then with SC is 10.5 sec? didnt know 318i were so slow and hong kong was so dirty.

is it me, or does that engine look REALLY different than our normal 3.0L engines... the oil cap is way over to the left and i've never seen that engine cover before (i can tell the OEM from the dirtiness from the rest of the car).... is that how a 2.5L engine looks? this could explain why the numbers are still hella slow... but i still don't see how a car with 300hp would still take 10sec to get to 62mph (100kmh)...

correction, 1.8L!
That makes more sense now... but why waist $7k+ on a supercharger for a I4? that amount of money spent could have just bought the 325i-330i... strange +1 **I give these props though. In hong kong, if you're not hella-rich you're almost dirt poor - i've been there (spent my 21st birthday there). From the pics, i can see this guy put the supercharger on in his garage (+1). Pics are from his phone it looks like (most phones these days are 8.0+ megapixel so i can imagine he wouldn't focus in or anything [i]fancy[/] (-1), and also... he deliberately took it to what looks like an industrial area... probably couldn't help it, hong kong is really packed and scenery is almost null there Last edited by N0OS3; 11-02-2011 at 11:57 AM.. |

I'm pretty sure $7k isnt enough to get you a 325i. Taking Vietnam as an example, the difference between a 320i vs 325i is $15k. So, I think supercharging it is a good way to get HP.
