Sterling:Euro rate looking good today!

Thanks to Greece etc you can get a few more Euros for your GBP than has been the case for the last 6 months....only fly in the ointment maybe result of today's election...

So, today might be a good day to buy those Euro's!

Public service announcement over!

I've done this lots of times. Generally of you order over £500 you get free delivery.

Better rates than the high street.

Unfortunately I can't offer an online service....yet.....

but can certainly help with any transfer business anyone might have at VERY competitive rates....

Be careful with the online suppliers, there are certainly good deals to be had but don't forget to add in ALL costs.

For reference our over the counter selling rate today, any quantity and no comission, is 1.142 Euros:GBP which is highest for this year.

Which election winner do you think will affect the rate?

Well I expect the rate to go down tomorrow whatever result!!

Tories should strengthen the pound, Labour weaken it....hung parliament was expected to weaken it too, but current feeling is that its already been factored in....

Reckon we should see 1.20 by the Summer.

All imho of course!!

A lot of amateur traders are thinking a hung parliament will cause a drastic crash in markets tomorrow, but as you said, they fail to realise that this has already been factored in... There could be a lot of money lost tomorrow

I'd also agree with you on the 1.20 by summer...

NOT you local post office.

Have a look on www.no1currency.com for your nearest outlet - rates that will always beat the post office and M&S

From a substantial amount onwards, your bank should use the exact internet exchange rate at time of transaction plus a set fee. Contact your bank first though before they rip you off.
Definitly don't rely on the buy/sell rates as published.

the post office online rate should be the same rate as when you go into the post office on the same day. and the post office dont have any additonal fees (excluding change-back of course), so th rate you see is what you pay. ive used the post office many times before and like their pricing clarity.

the only thing the buggers dont tell you is dont use a credit card when paying for it, always use a debit card. got stung with that once!
