Cats, the furry type

I seem to be plagued with cats where I live, I don't mind cats but one of them loves to sit on my bonnet and if I ever catch the bloody thing I'll ring its neck!!

Anyone got any ideas how to keep the bloody things of my car other than wiping the lot out with a 12 bore.

A decent water pistol is the answer - doesn't hurt the cat, but after a while they'll get the idea that its not a good place to be.

Supposedly cats don't like lemon juice. I'm not sure what you do with that info but that's all i've got.

yeah dont cover your car in lemon juice

i used to use one of them audio things (outdoor plug in thing that emits a high pitched sound that only cats can hear) outside the house to keep the cats from sh**ing all over the front garden. that seemed to do the job.

Cheers, I will try the water pistol, I never see it sitting there though, I just know its been there as it leaves hair and paw prints going all over the car, it done the same with my M3.

Its like a cat meeting place they must like BMW's, I suppose i could always get a dog

Tried allsorts to keep my cats off my car - Nothing has worked. Re the water pistol. Ok if you don't mind nice scratches on your car when you spray them. As soon as water hits, their claws will be out. It will damage your paintwork!

Don't wait for them to sit on the car - hit them with the water pistol wherever they are on your property - they'll soon learn to steer clear.
