Pictures of Newcastles (Had my new DSLR Nikon D5000 5 days now)

took a few pictures hope you like... all shots took on "M" trying all the setting changing them all, as you do, finding the best shot. took me some time but think im getting there slowly

Have they been edited in any way, or is that just off the camera?

The first shot has been edited in Photoshop, had 2 make the sky a little more orange. The other shots are straight from the camera. Pretty proud of them since I've only been using a slr for 4 days now

.... at first i didnt think i would pick it up but after a few dinner times this week at work reading the manual and surf through things on the net, you end up picking up the guts of it pretty quick.

Washing the car this morning then am going 2 try and take some shot it and then tomorrow am taking the car over to newcastle and im going to take some shots there so wal have to see how they turn out.

Also going 2 try some moving/rolling shot of cars. should intresting how these all turn out but looking forward to it
