E92 Angel Eye Update - Pics...

just installed mine...mtec super white....the installion just take some patience.......both the driver and passenger sdie bulbs turn to the right....clockwise...u just have to get the rigght angle of ur hand into that tiny hole...just keep playing with it ull get it. sooner or later...will get piks up soon

Im a big fan of the bluesh white light.Whats the bluest anyone got the angel eyes on a E92? anyone try 10k HIDs

I didn't hunt through all 21 pages of this thread but I take it this won't work as easily with an E90?

Installed the Gp thunder's Angel h8 , Mtec Super White h3 cornering light and Mtec Super White fos lights. Looks a million times better.
Definitely worth it.
Though i feel like driving only with my drl's and fog lights on at night.

Looks sooo slick

how can you have both your angels and fogs on at the same time with out the main headlight being on?

This can only be done if the lights are not in the "auto" position--it is one click to the right, then press the fog light button. You should be golden.

I just completed my angel and fog modification. The images are in the image only thread. I picked up 2 sets of Nokya, Arctic White, 7000K bulbs from http://www.AutomotiveLightingUSA.com Total cost $57.23.
In the garage and outside in the day light they look good. I’ll update as soon as I take a ride at night.
Thanks to everyone posting images and instructions.
One follow-up question, the passenger side angel, which by the way was the biggest pain in the a**, did not have a firm snap into place. But I can’t turn it any more and it’s flush. Anyone else run into this? I’m a little concerned that it might get loose. Once again thank you for all the DIY images and instructions.

I had this problem as well--it seemed to me at the time that the light did not end up looking/feeling like the driver's side. If I remember right, the back portion of the light (passenger side) ends up almost vertical, correct? And on the driver's side it is more at an angle when you are finished? I think I remember it almost clicking into place--but everything has to be lined up properly, as well as the light being flush (as you said). You should be able to put a little pressure on the light (in the direction it must be pushed to take it out) without it moving. If you push it and it moves very easily--it is not where it should be. Does that makes sense? Hopefully that will give you some piece of mind--I would just check it again keeping those things in mind.

Today I completed my angel eye and fog modification. It's now night and I'm about to take my first ride and I have a problem. When and only when I have my angels, fogs, and headlights on my angels go out! DRL OK, Angels & Fogs ok, Headlights and fogs my angel go out after about 1 minute. Must shut off car and restart to get the angels to work. Any ideas??? I'm starting to wish I never did this mod.....BTY all 4 new bulbs are H8 35/55W bulbs

havne't seen anyone else use Nokya brand so =\ i dont know
you're not out of luck, if you dont like it, just pop the stock bulbs back in!

i noticed that you (dollar bill) have a bmw liscene plate haning off ur front bumper! haven't seen anyone else with that either(on the 335i)

i ordered Hoen's xenon match...will receive them in about 1 week
(page 14 has pics of Hoen lightbulbs) so i most likely wont post mines
