Any ideas what these are for ?
Hi,
I have recently acquired a 2008 e93 330i and have been looking at factory options trying to figure out what these things are for The first is a knob in the drivers cubby hole. This looks like a bass adjustment knob for a sub but it doesn't adjust bass, only the stereo adjusts the sub. The second is a duo of cables in the rear ski hatch / compartment, one is an aux cable and the other is some kind of molex connector. I wasn't aware that aux was used for any optional extras and thought they run on MOST. Thanks, Luke |

Nothing original anyway. As you’ve mentioned maybe audio (amp/sub) no longer fitted, I’d just back track those cables and offload them permanently.

Yeah, part of an aftermarket audio install.
BMW don't have factory fit electronics options held in place by velcro. |
