anyone need affordable bodywork or painting job?
just posting to see since my uncle was asking. few members here already got their parts done and are happy. it's family owned small bodyshop. i've been hooking up with only close friends until recently few members asking and result came out good and they are all been happy so trying to see if anyone needs to paint body parts cheap and save some money.
figure everyone needs to save some bucks... so... pm me... bleh

if you pm me about when you will be swing by, i'll call them up for you, so that they can expect u. however, i belive portland is bit too far to drive by. shop is in lynnwood which is around exit 179 on I-5

Hi. I have a few dents (from hit and runs) and would like to get that fixed as well as repaint the entire car. I have a jet black e92. How much would that cost?

I gave your uncle a call. He gave me a pretty good estimate for my M3 bumper. I'll more than likely have him do it once it comes in the mail.

So I took the recommendations of others and decided to have this autobody place paint my new M3 bumper. I made an appointment to drop it off this last Monday. When I got there they didn't find any appointment and sort of remembered talking with me. Not a big deal, as they took the bumper.
Two days later I get called and the bumper is done. I fight rush hour traffic and make it there. The employee takes me into the shop to show me the bumper. Right away I notice all of these dimples in the paint from dust that was on the bumper while being painted. It's covered with these dimples on all sides. In addition there is a dried run in the clear. I point these problems out and the guy claims it's normal to get some dust in the paint, "it's impossible to get 100% of it off." I explain to him it is possible as I've had other bumpers painted with no flaws. The guy then shows me a roof they just painted, which looked even worse than my bumper. He states the parts were painted in their paint booth. Their booth is not setup well i'd guess. After telling him I wasn't happy he said he could buff it out. I'm thinking yeah right. He then explains he will sand the majority of the bumper where his electric sander will fit, then he can shoot it with more clear. I decide to let him try. Tonight I picked up the bumper and it looked a lot better. There were only a few very minor flaws and I thought good enough for the $300 they charged. Overall I won't be going back there. Just an FYI for anyone interested.

hm... i never really had much of dust issues like you mentioned but yea they don't have dry/bake room so that's one of the reason why they can be more price competative. most of the dust stuff should come right off with some buffing though...
but yea if you are expecting $600~700 job for $300, this is not a place for you. they do match the color pretty good and if any issue occurs, they do fix right up for you, on top of that, they deliver decent job at very good rate.

got my front lip painting done here, the paint and the color match pretty good , but some small area of paint cracked and peeling off after 2 days. but still could be acceptable for the price.
