Anywhere to test top speed in NJ or PA?

I'm installing my procede later this week and looking for a place to test the delimited top speed in Central NJ or Central PA. I have found a few drag strips around me but I want a long stretch of pavement where I can just WOT and see how fast I can go without stopping after a quarter.

Just to be clear, I am not looking for a stretch of public road, I want something private and controlled, like a drag strip but longer. I am not looking to break any laws.

Alex.

At that speed you have to pray the windshield is strong enough without the top to handle the wind force. If not, you're gonna get a face full of windshield at 200mph.

You guys are crazsy to try this on a public road, but the guy above was right, tpk around exit 8 is isolate on both sides. I used to tune on rt 287 southbound side right in front of the Somerset Patriots stadium....got to 155 in a previous Honda and 168 in another car.

OP, if you are just trying to see if the car was delimited, why dont you just jack up the rear and run through the gears real quick.....that may work???? Or dyno...But really, do you need to really verify that the limiter is actually off? When are you ever going to go that fast? lol

Have you actually ever jacked up a car and run through the gears??? That sounds so dangerous It's not even funny... what if the jack slipped or dropped down and you fly right into your garage wall?

if you want to come down to mercer county, I-95 and 295 at the dead of night are great places to top a car out
perfectly smooth for stretches and absolutely no cops ever

287 between morristown and bedminster. There are "enclosed" gaps where you don't have to worry. The best place I've ever seen is on rt 476 between philly and scranton usually north of 78. You can go for miles without seeing anyone plus its smooth.

lol, I have done it actually a couple times! Once to a fwd drive and twice on a rwd car...plus once with a bike on a stand....yeah its dangerous, but if you support the car properly you should be okay! Live a little dangerously, put some miles on your car and get nasty with it my man!!!!!

Really though??? who cares if your shit can go over 170 are you racing bikes on a regular basis?
