We are talkin about the intake for the NA vehicles. Might wanna ask that question in the turbo section

Thought I would bump this since there is still issues being reported from other owners regarding surging and power loss. If you are thinking of getting the aFe intake, be warned.

You've just saved me a load of money so thanks for the heads up!
Just wondered what exhaust mods people recomend are best for the n52?
PE is out of the question from a price point, so would a secondary cat delete, back box swap or back box delete be the best option?

I have the Afe stage 2 on my 06, and didn't notice any power loss whatsoever. I already had the Bmx power box installed prior to reading people suggesting a tune instead, with this, and the active autowerkes muffler delete, my car will spin the tires from a dead stop. That's with 245 rear tires, and an automatic transmission.

I guess each car handles mods differently, but having the carbon creations GTR2 carbon fiber hood and the Afe intake makes my car sound like a beast when at full throttle. I love it!
