2007 335i 18K miles
Stabil in the gas - over inflate the tires..quality car cover..u should run it up to temperature at least once every 2 weeks if you dont use a battery tender..especially in the winter |

Who knows, maybe he really meant "there". There. As in "that special sacred place every BMW owner knows of and where all BMW owners drive their cars at midnight of some special night once in a decade when the planets and stars align in some specific way, to dance with the mermaids and to hear the voice of Lorelei lure the unfortunate sailors to their certain doom"...
Or maybe not. Maybe it was really meant to be a plain and boring "their". |

Yes, naturally we are all aware that there are some people who drive a ton, then there are many people who drive the average amount of mileage per year, and of course then there are some people who for whatever reason choose to put very few miles on their car.
This forum has many members, naturally if every body replied to this post, you would get all three answers. "I drive a fuck load" "I drive the average amount, 10-15k miles a year" "I hardly ever drive my bimmer" Who cares? |

I rarely drive my car, only twice since Labor Day weekend. I got my 335i when I was single, so I always had a 2nd car. Then, after getting married, my wife worked in Manhattan for 2 years so no need for her to have a car.
On a couple of occasions, she had a job in the 'burbs, so the 335i became a daily driver. Then Labor Day weekend, we got a 3rd car, so no need to drive the 335i again. I took it out last Sat. In its life, my car has sat for 4 wks. without being touched, and it always started the first try, so I doubt you need to do anything special. I would say when you do pull it out, let it fully warm up and try to take her out on the highway, 130 to 150 mph can't hurt. |

OP I bought my car in April and have only put 1,300 miles. That's a little over 200 a month. Now that's pathetic. I have a company vehicle and use my car on the weekend. Everything is close by the only long trips I've made is 5 100 mile round trips. I would like to drive it more, but hey whatever. |

I rarely drive my car as I live in the city of chicago, so its really for roads trips and weekend errands, I also travel a lot so its sits at length sometimes for1 month.
I always start it and let it warm up till the exhaust opens above 45 degrees, if colder I idle for a minute, and when I am hard on it, being a twin turbo, I never put her bed hot, and make sure I drive it until the turbos cools down and the temps drop. I bought it with 52K miles on it, and have not any issues other than a Low Boost issue at the track under heavy stress. |

I drive it daily, but work is only a few minutes form home.
I put about 6-7k on a year.
