Anyone else have this problem? Will a t-bolt clamp remedy this or do I have to pursue another avenue? If the t-bolt will work, what size do I need?

Once again, the throttle body side is the problem.

is the retaining clip flipped the wrong way? if the bent ends are facing the wrong way, the sides of the clip won't lock onto the groove on the throttle body. you will see the recess on the stock charge pipe for the bent ends of the clip

They are are facing the right way. I did try it both ways though & it's loose regardless.

seems like maybe your retaining clip is bent or something then, or your throttle body groove is deformed, which is highly unlikely, see if someone local has another retaining clip that you can test.

did you install the retaining bolt thats down by the alternator?

Clip isn't bent & I don't see how the groove was deformed in a matter of minutes w/o being touched. I don't have any local contacts to swap parts with.

You mean the Torx screw? Yes, that is installed.

T bolt will not solve this, it mite even end up damaging the stock plastic pipe.

Try to wiggle it in tight, make sure no shiny silver fort he groove is showing and the throttle body side is nice n snug, try using all your effort and pushing it in their, and then clipping it in, i sometimes get that problem too, and it just requires some lil extra push for the top end and it fits rite in

All the pushing & wiggling didn't change a thing. It goes on all the way easily, but does not go on tight no matter what I do & just slides down a little bit b/c it's not tight.

There has to be some reason why it all of a sudden will not keep the pipe on there tight.

no reason except the o'ring not in it, or maybe it fell out of the groove while installing it?

it shouldnt be that easy to just slide on, should have to wiggle it one cuz the o'ring causes a resistance
