I know that this topic has been covered numerous times and I have gone thru manny treads to find my answers. Being that some of the treads are really old and no longer valid due to discontinued hardware and etc, prompted me to make this post. I know that my options are limited due to some requirements I have, but wanted to run it by you guys anyway. Currently I have hifi option 676 in my e90, I am looking for some improvement in sound quality, not looking for an increase in loudness as it is loud enough for my needs. My first requirement is to stay plug and play ( no cutting wires or running any additional) and second one is budge, which is about $600. Below are the options that I have come up with but not sure which would give me best result for the buck.

Option 1
Replace an existing amp with Bimmertech and keep the existing speakers ( also can anyone confirm that Bimmertech harness from F30 would work on my e90 as I might be able to buy one from a F30 board member)

Option 2
Replace existing speakers with Bavsound kit

Option 3
Your recommendation for any other plug and play speaker set

I understand that above options will only bring some improvements and not a lot but I am ok with that. Thanks in advance

Talk to Bimmertech about option 1 there is a center speaker
in the F30 .

The weakness in the system is amp 70 percent speaker 30 percent in my estimation.

Hmmm. I'll be following this as well. I have one speaker in the front that doesn't work. If I'm replacing a front, might as well upgrade both

For you to get any good out of a decent set of aftermarket speakers
you need and aftermarket amp.
This question comes up all the time with the base and hi fi system
its been well covered.
Bimmertech helix 82dsp and a set of Jehnert Slimline speakers will give you a real hi quality setup.
My guess is that is about 1300 to 1500 in parts.
