the best tuned turbo kit around is on this car......its what was originally on mine. Being a built motor its only a larger turbo and 60lb injectors and retune away from a reliable 500whp+ on pump gas. Hell this could be a 600whp+ car quite easily if you had the itch.

Sniz, says it was sold recently - last post.

Trevor, probably another 335. Debating i vs xi. It's too easy to make power on these things and the mileage is terrific. The only other option for similar money and similar mileage is a 5.0 and I'm not sure I'm a Mustang guy. Fantastic car, just not sure it's my taste. I'd really appreciate suggestions. Can't afford a gt-r, or c63, or m5. Might swing a e90 m3 but I drive 65 miles daily so I'm scared of the last three mentioned. Z06 gets good mileage on the highway but I need a back seat. What are my options?

This, of course, all depends on whether they total the car. I'm hoping they will. If they don't, what are my options for arguing I'm not taking it repaired? All help appreciated.

Damn, Jason. Sorry to see this. We just saw you on that road a few weeks ago. You pulled on my Tundra pretty well, but in fairness I was towing my boat. 210 is a crazy road. Nothing that happens there surprises me. Glad you're ok, the car is replaceable.

Depends on if the engine is damaged... I know that if the damage is about 70% of the value of the car, they'll write a check. From the looks of it, you have new fenders and bumper paint. You also have to replace your airbags, and your electronics for the air bag deployment system. I can't see what the damage is under the hood, subframe, and all your electronics but when they totalled my Maxima last year, my I had about $7500 in parts, body work, and labor. They gave me $10.5k for the car when the car was worth about $8,500.

Good luck with whatever the case.

I would bet that car is totalled but you need to FIGHT if its close and they want to fix it.

when mine was tboned they wanted to cut out the middle of the unibody and weld a new one in.....I pitched a fit and after months of bitching had it totalled through my insurance company.

I hope its totalled for your benefit.

OP...glad you're ok! Everytime I see a post about these types of accidents, it proves more and more that our e9x's are really safe and have well designed crumple zones.

The same EXACT thing happened to me on the same part of 210 3 years ago in my Subaru LGT. I was little further back more toward Swan Creek light and the CVS. A Jeep Liberty was left abandoned in the left lane and on that part of 210 there is absolutely no shoulder. So I slammed on my brakes narrowly stopping, the guy behind me luckily stops, but a Dodge RAM work truck doesn't see us and slams into the Accord behind me. He hit the accord so hard and at a wierd angle that he pushed the accord diagonally and I wasn't touched.

Hopefully they total your car! Which junkyard is it at?

Damn dude, how did I miss this? What time did it happen? Would have stopped if I had seen you. So sorry to hear.

To be honest, I'm almost waiting for something like this to happen to me on 210. About a week after I bought my 335, some guy went to turn left in front of me, decided he couldn't make it, and stopped in the middle of my lane when I was doing 80. Luckily, he had just enough room to back up and get out of my way before I blew by him. Thank god for BMW brakes.

Looks totalled to me, but body shops can do wonders on cars these days. Engine looks like its pushed back meaning there was definitely an impact on the block.

Totaled. Working out the settlement figure now. We happened to get the "better auto coverage" on our policy when we changed insurance providers - 19 days before accident... That'll help. Lol. Good times. Thanks for the support.

+1 But you knew that, already.

Glad you made it out safe. There are a lot of great buys out there to soften the blow, especially if you stay with the e92. Personally, I prefer the lci e90s. That way people can let themselves into the back seat.

I know this is a conversion (see below), but I am really digging the good looks of the lci M-Sport with the sensible mileage and tuneability of the N54/55 blown engines!

210 is a nasty thoroughfare until you run out of room and hit IH. Mr. Tuner and I used to play the little 9-hole before they spruced it up.

Don't forget to retrieve/take off your windshield decal...good OPSEC...stay safe.

So the ins co is coming through on this. After paying off the note, I'll have about $5k to spend. Considering my 70 mi daily commute, need for a backseat, and desire for >350 whp what should I get? I'm looking to stay under $36k

335xi?
Mustang GT 5.0?
Advice?
