without looking at my contract/paperwork (cuz it is at home), can anyone tell me if I bought my car in July 09 (it was on 07 with an inservice date fo 04/07) as a cpo with the maintenace package, it now has 50k+ miles, is my maitenance still free?

I'm not 100% certain but I believe maintenance isn't covered under the CPO warranty, for that you would need the upgraded maintenance plan.

I would think you still have free maintenance. Looks like the extended maintenance program is included with your CPO deal. I remember when shopping around for mine and fields bmw was offering this in addition to the cpo plan. If so, it most likely covers the same period as the CPO's 6yr/100k.

so we are going to buy the boy a car for graduation...he likes small, fairly good mileage, fast, modable/skews towards euros (but also loves the boss 302)...mom likes safe,somewhat reliable and cheap...

I was thinking GTI with a GIACor EC tune and some wheels from the sto...any other thoughts? Used bimmer likely out of the question from a price standpoint.

I'm wanting to start to look now so I can test drive in summer months.
