Which hwy should I take SOCAL?

I'm headed to Port of Long Beach from Central Cali. Google maps says to take the 710 from I5. Should I follow or take the 405 instead? I wanted to see your opinion of the roads, traffic, etc.

I should be passing 6 Flags around 11am.

I can tell you that there shouldn't be traffic from west LA to long beach on the 405S around that time.

Yeah the 405 southbound will be clear all the way til about 2-3pm

Use google navi. avoids traffic

fuckit. take pch for the scenic route. u might arrive the next day though.

i like 710 better

alot more room so there's alot less traffic, but if you do wanna take the scenic route, pch/hwy1 is the best. It's just gonna be alot longer though

Well on the way there we took 405. There was traffic, but I was in the carpool lane. On the way home I took 710 to the I5. Seemed faster and no slow down traffic.

We left through Carnival and my buddy who took a cruise 10yrs ago said he knew the way and disregarded my Navi...well he didnt know Carnival terminal as moved!
