M3 mirrors are a direct bolt on - no modification required!

However...... ONLY mirrors from a E90 (4dr) M3 will fit our E91's and E90's. The much more common E92/93 M3 mirrors WILL NOT fit.

So, if you buy some, make sure you do your homework and ensure they are from a saloon, not a coupe!

Mine were bought second hand, they had been removed from an accident damaged E90 M3. They are to 'top spec' mirrors which have:

Electric auto fold
Electric auto dimming (electrochromatic glass)
Heated glass
Shadow line high gloss bodies

I had had the electrochromatic glass coded to work with the car, as I already had the required wiring in place, and the auto dim rear view mirror, so it was all activated via coding alone!

Good luck in your search, here in the UK a decent condition pair of E90 M3 mirrors retail for around £500-£600!

Mine got the same for the inside mirror, but I haven't got the wing mirrors to autodim :-(

It can only be coded if the mirror glass is electrochromatic.

Without that, the auto dim will not work on the wing mirrors!

I used a coding guy to do the work for me!

Pretty sure it was somewhere in the FRM!!
