Delivery day the car next to me was same C63 w/ perf kit so it had c/f spoiler red calipers etc.. . But it was red with black wheels which have the silver lip too. It looked grade A tacky. Glad I went for a more 'subtle' colour.

Hot on the heels of the AMG was either SS-V redline ute or HSV Maloo. Never ended up having a look but Golf R was a consideration, but I heard a few things regarding quality and lag etc.. so I didn't bother. Also it meant I still stay as a 2.0 4 banger. I was actually right behind one earlier in the exact car in the same colour when I saw the badges at the rear (not a MB fan so need those badges to help identify which model :P) and I went "Hey, that looks like Sujoy's new car...suweettt"

And my partner sitting beside me just looked at me confused and went "What the....?!?!?"

C63 AMG is in a completely different league than 335i, Golf R, SSV, Maloo etc.

Wish I could afford to buy one, probably have to wait until the next jackpot from Powerball!!!

This colour is a new colour which only came out with the facelift C models so there aren't too many around. Unfortunately benz have quite a few shades of grey - palladium silver, this, tenorite grey etc.. so they might all just get confused.

On the contrary I love these wheels. The Performance kit adds these wheels or this same design in black with silver lip. The black version looks a bit tacky and the only other wheels for the C63 look crap too and are 18" versions which come on non performance kit models.

I haven't really put my foot down yet, still just over 100kms atm. Got another 1400km to go before break in finishes and the advised cautious driving style can be forgotten about. So far only gone 1/2 throttle max, but boy.. it still shifts. Yet to venture above 4500rpm and rarely go above 3/3.5k. But the BEST part, as expected is the sound. Even at 1/4-1/2 throttle it sounds like an absolute beast. I cannot imagine what it sounds like at 7000rpm WOT

No keyless go, and frankly I hate keyless systems. Even bmws ca. I much prefer a key and having to manually turn it. There is just something satisfying about turning a key and starting a car lol.
