June 22, update:http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3
--------------------------------------------------------------------- June 16, Update on Page 2 --------------------------------------------------------------------- My car is a E90 LCI 328xi. I got it last september and did some mods. Hope you guys would like it and Sorry for the iPhone pictures Its original appearance(rims came from dealership) First, I added the front lip and DRLs Then, the CF hood After that, the fenders.. And side mirrors.. And CF Trunk..(Do u think its a good idea to paint it?) And recently I just changed the side skrit. Here is what my car looks like now.. Here is the interior. I changed the knob, handbrake and padels by my self but can't remember when.. lol Next step is install the M tehc rear bumper and remus quad tips exhasut, it will be done next week. then I will lower it and install the BMW Performance BBKS. I hope it could be done before August, I will keep update. One more picture... It's a New M5 I took this picture when I was waiting for the green light on Steels two month ago... I didn't saw it happens but I think the poor man was trying to pass the van before line ends...That's a tragedy....Drive safely everybody Last edited by ObiChen; 06-22-2012 at 10:39 PM.. |

Great work on your car so far. I would recommend painting the hood and trunk. The two tone cf isn't the best look on a bimmer. I had the same set up as you before and went with paint. CF is acceptable on the roof if possible and as an accent. Where did you get the led strips near the fogs and the hood. The fitment and styling on the hood is really nice.

Both of them come from ebay seller, the DRL is made in taiwan and the hood is made by SEIBON. here is the link: DRL: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/BMW-3-Series-...ht_4252wt_1396 Hood: http://www.ebay.com/itm/330598751884...ht_4562wt_1396 |

Your car looks like an amalgamation of automotive styling cliches from the last 5 years. Nothing really flows as if it was designed by a committee of teenagers. Here is how I think you can fix it. Paint the carbon fiber bits. There is not enough contrast between the dark blue paint and the carbon and it looks stupid. Either get rid of those stupid Audi-esque LED lights or at least get a delete kit for the OEM fogs. You've got a light right next to a light right below some lights and it looks like a Mexican wedding. Stop with the M3 stuff. You've gone too far already. You're kind of screwed now because the front fenders and hood are all bulgy and aggressive and the stock front and rear are subdued. Lowering the car might save the front but the rear needs something. I would also suggest a different wheel style. 269s are nice but they look best on smooth, stock-bodied coupes in my opinion. They work less well on sedans and fall down once you start adding aggressive body work into the mix. The thin spokes and polished finish is just too "delicate" for the rest of your car. Interior is headed in a good direction but don't overdo the carbon thing.

Wow man do not like. M3 fenders? Audi lookalike LEDs? CF? Those are a lot of no no's around here.
I do like the cf trim, splitters, and pedals. |

For the rear, I will install the m tech rear bumper performance style diffuser and remus quad exhaust next week.(not M3 style lol) For the front, H&R springs and KONI shocks will be arrived next month and I'm waiting for mass production of LTBMW 1M style bumper. It looks really cool and doesn't have DRLs and fog lights. But I won't change the fenders and hood and side mirrors cuz I really like them. Maybe will paint the hood into body color when I have enough budget. For the rim, I agree with u. I might sell this rim and buy a set of second-hand 313, when budget is permitted of course lol.. Thank you for your adivce again 1M style bumper from LTBMW Does any1 know when will this bumper come out? Last edited by ObiChen; 06-09-2012 at 10:32 AM.. |

Tying the front and rear together will work wonders here. You're kind of committed to the aggressive look now so you just have to keep going with it. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure I saw you about a month ago westbound on Steeles around Vic Park. I rmb you cuz at first I thought it was an m3 at night and you have the same rims as me. But when you passed me at the next light, I was like oh wait, just one exhaust lol
Duno if you saw me. Silver e93, same rims, lowered. I floored it when the light changed so you might have heard my intake and exhaust. |
