Need your advice please on brake fluid change ;)

Hello everyone,

The time has come to change brake fluid in my car and as always I take care what I buy and do research.

My car is E90 320d.

Will the following fluid be ok with my car ? :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Castrol-Re...item2571d05c63
Any other choice is welcome

I know so far that 1L will be enought and the cheapest price I have found to do the change is Tom's garage in Stockport which I have used a few times. The price is £40, is that any good ?

Also Ive heard that the replacement fluid should be of a different colour to the one already in the car for change purposes, is that correct ?

I am waiting for your help.

Kind Regards,

Mat.

Having just spoken to a tech from BMW you want to keep as close to BMW spec for brake fluid as possible otherwise you risk future problems with seals. Also make sure anything you buy of ebay is not old stock youdont want fluid that sat in box for a long time.

Old fluid will change colour due to the moisture it absobrs or if you cook it. So yes the colour of the old will be diferent its the easiest way to tellyou pumped old one out when the colour changes. £40 to do the change is good price. Is that with you providing the fluid I take it

I just called my local BMW dealer asking about brake fluid change inc brake fluid and the best they could do was £93 inc VAT ... Thats so expensive !

I will do it with the BMW specialist for £40 exc brake fluid. I just wanted to make sure with you if the brake fluid below from eBay is ok for my 320d ? :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Castrol-Re...item2571d05c63
