HELP NEEDED FOR 320d

Gday,
I have a 320d (177) and would like a bit better performance. I have researched remaps extensively and was just about to get a bsr ppc when I read about the torque converter intolerance past 400nm...bugger.
SO, do I get a bmw performance kit (anyone know the best deal ? german ebay? because BMW Australia are rip off merchants imo)
Or do i get a evolve or bsr ppc remap sent, buy the uprated torque converter seperately and maybe get a bigger intercooler (forge look good but are bloody expensive)
Lastly just a better exhaust...any ideas? I dont want anything too noisy, but just a nice burble. Will this make the car blow smoke?

Alot of questions here...thanks for your time
Daniel

I installed my PPK at the dealership.
After the parts install, the car will have to be updated with the new software (connection to BMW servers, ECU and gearbox software updates), so i guess the best bet is to get this from a dealer.

Thanks mate
How does it go with the performance kit compared to standard? Is it a lot better?

Well, you know the figures, it's just a ~10% power increase, but the result is quite visible and noticeable, especially the increased torque (the 420Nm of the 184HP model PPK should have been even better, though)
The new torque converter is an added bonus, also. Car now feels more direct when accelerating from stand still.
I've had the PPK on the car for 10,000km now, no issues so far.

You can find some acceleration videos on my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/lmerfu?feature=results_main). Don't know if there's much improvement over stock figures, but car definitely feels faster now.

Thanks for your reply mate.
just out of curiosity, where did you get the kit? My cheapest quote is 1400 euros for the 320d 177 auto. I was also thinking about getting a remap, new forge intercooler and buying the s126 toeque converter seperately
Cheers
Daniel
