Just repaint it, and you can fade the lip edge to CF as you go to the center, that way you can cover that chip.

Sucks that it got chipped, but whoever wants to paint this, it wont show anyway. And if its just the clear coat, a shop can fill and buff it back to new I believe.

Ron at StreetXtreme can get this installed and painted if anyone is interested.

For $300 this is a steal. My group buy has paint and install for $250 for a trunk like this.

Even if you got a Fiberglass new one from my group buy, this CF trunk would be cheaper in the end.

Yes, sorry let me clarify:

I told Ron at StreetXtreme that the person that purchased my trunk is now selling it, and some guys messaged me asking about paint and install.

So I asked Ron to give me a better price for the paint, fitment (adjustments), and install for this particular trunk. Ron will do it for $250.00 (I typed 150 by mistake before). This is still cheaper than the group buy offer, which is $300 for paint and install.

In my case, I widened the rear frame of the car a bit to fit the trunk perfectly. If someone is looking to paint the main part of it, then Ron will shave the sides to fit perfectly and paint it, and/or leave the lip edge CF which is a popular thing to do.

So all the work involved, plus paint and install would be $250.00

Total is $550.00

In comparison that is less than a Fiberglass trunk which I sell for $310 + $90 shipping + $250 paint + $50 install = $700.00
