Well yeah it aint pretty and it is a bmw (a damn nice one at that!) Perhaps in the interim you can get a half round file and 'round' off the radii somewhat to neaten it up?

get one of those CF exhaust shield? might be hard to find the right size and shape tho

The PE sounds nice and subtle compared to mine. I can say finally I heard a PE exhaust. Between the Remus and PE, Remus is louder on the higher rev but less beefy compared to PE on the lower cruising rev.

@froop: Alex, I couldn't believe how bad it smells on the mini run. LOL

@Kaitan: Troy your exhaust sounds good when you step on it..

I reckon you should just pull the trigger and buy a quad diffuser and replace that mess that mechanic had made.

i was at the very back, i definitely heard Kaitan's exhaust off the lights and i smelt froop's

Sorry guys hahahaha. I guess I don't smell it much as whenever I reverse or cold start I close my windows and open them up once I'm cruising in a forward direction away from the smell

A part of my brain says "I really should get a tune", while the other part is saying "Your throwing too much $$$ into a car".

Ahh decisions decisions... I think I will revisit this tune thing once I have done a oil change and the spark plug / coils ( It was sputtering this morning when I started the car. It happens whenever I push it hard, especially after last night).
