runflats extremely loud when turning left ?
for some reason when im driving faster then 60 km/h and i turn even slightly left to lets say switch lanes. The tires start making noise. This doesnt happen when im turning right or when im driving slow.
I assumed that something was wrong with the tread because on occasion I do drive pretty hard on her, taking corners really fast, drifting, etc. Tread is fine except for the back 2 tires which are almost bald. what could possibily make the tires so loud when im turning left? also note, I could have sworn to god my front right tire had a nail but when i inspected it, there was no nails. |

If the tires make noise when turning in only one direction, then most likely you're:
1) Rubbing 2) It's not the tires A bad wheel bearing will make a very similar noise, but typically is more pronounced when turning in one direction or the other. I'd get it checked out. |

tire noise
Your tires wold have to be EXTREMELY cupped in order to get the noise when turning, I would definitely check the bearings first and then go for the tires is anything.

If your tires are showing wires you need to replace them ASAP. In regard to the noise, a bald tire is definitely going to be pretty loud, but it most likely would be loud at all times. Could you describe the noise, OP?

usually bearings or cupped tires. had this on my e39's with bad bearing.
youve replaced tires so looks like the bearing are on thier way out. if you jack it up, can you shake the wheel? my merc did shake but the 39's didn't shake but new bearings solved this noise. also make sure the brake shields are not very close to the rotors.
