AG M359 Hypersilver and Michelin Pilot sport A/S 3 Review
So I finally got around to getting my camera working. To take some pictures of my new wheels and tires. I'm here to tell you of my experience so that others can use this informantion in the future.
First off I would like to thank Michael Chen at **********s for Helping me along with my purchase of my AG M359 wheels. He was very helpfull in my purchase. Shipping was also great got them all in one piece no damage. I was happy with the quality of the wheels and new I picked the right wheel for my car. I did a lot of research on sizes to go with and finally came to a conclusion. next was tires I did a lot of research on tires brands, sizes and reviews. Finally came across some tires. Michelin pilot sport a/s 3 fairly new tire on the market and talk with tire rack and Michelin. Then finally pulled the trigger. I was ready to put this all to the test could wait to get them mounted up. I started with the rear didn't look good in the beginning but once I swapped the tpms over mounted and balanced the rears. then mounted them on the car they fit to my surprise. after all 4 were mounted I lowered the car took it for a spin. and walla no rubbing until I hit a big dip. A slight roll fixed that. now no rubbing on big dips even with a full tank of gas and my girlfriend and son riding along. The fronts also clear lock to lock even in reverse. So far the cars handles way better then before in wet of dry asphalt and they are way more quite then my RF's. So a big thank you to this form and its vendors for helping me making my bmw better thank you now enjoy the pics. Front 19x9 ET35 245/35r19 Rear 19x10 ET38 275/30r19

The setup looks awesome. I am also looking into swapping out my oem 193 w/ oem potenzas for these rims and tires. I have a 2011 335i lci sedan with m sport package. The only thing I am concerned about is the rubbing issue. What was the reasoning for going with 245s and 275s rather than 235/265. And why the a/s 3 over the super sports. Have read that the super sports are some of the bests for this car.
I am looking at getting a used set with the super sports for around 1600. What are your thoughts on these. ( http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=875826 ). It seems like you researched this to a good extent, so hopefully you will be able to help. Thanks |

Nice set up. I am also curious why chose that set up? |

[URL=http://s99.photobucket.com/user/Rantheman96/media/IMAG0318.jpg.html] What method is used to measure the widths of tires? I am a carpenter by trade and those tires are waaay bigger than 10"s! |

I did this setup because I like this style of wheel I like the look of the offsets. I was willing to make modifications to make this fit buţ after reading and researching I knew it would take much. I chose the tires due to have already having experience with Michelin pilot super sports I though after researching these tires about well Im not going to know if they are good unless I try them. So far I'm glad I did

Section widths are 9.8 front and 10.9 rear I believe there a 1/4 wider front and rear from a 235/265 and yes the rear rubbed on big dips at full flex I couldn't get a finger between the tires and fenders after roll I can the fronts rubbed on the oil cooler vent in the wheel well but that's full lock backing up turning left other wise no issues. In the rear I might be able to squeeze a 285 or a 3-5 mm spacers
