Just spent the last 40 mins reading the entire thread lol. What a wondeful progress. By buying a Tacoma you mean have two vehicles (E90 + Tacoma) or you gonna get rid of the E90?

Hi Guys,

I wanted to write you all an update to let you know why I haven't been around recently. I found another project car to suck my bank account down to zero! The 335 has been my daily and I still love her to death but there is just something that I love about having an older car.

There is still a lot of work to be done. Here is the build thread if you wanna see the progress.

Nick! Long time no talk. I have been busy with family and kids man. Just trying to catch up to you! You know I got the same setup as you. just a JB4.
Just had a question, I'm usually on map 1 all the time. you were using the map 5, why? Where you using ethanol? Just changed my HPFP!

Also, btw, my front headlight lens getting cloudy. How do you manage to keep yours clear? did you do the brushing of it or did you get new clear ones?

Hey dude!

I ended up switching to a custom tune a while ago, which was a huge upgrade from the JB4. Look into MHD when you start to get bored with the JB4 power.

Map 5 iirc was an autotune map that adjusted boost on its own. My car always ran really nicely with that map. Try it out and see what you think for a few days!

I haven't done anything to my headlights, just lucky they are in good condition still.

Ha! I daily drove the 335 up until December when I sold it. I bought a 1997 Landcruiser! I freeeeakin love this truck. The 4WD life is so fun.

Wow nice! My dad used to import tons of Landcruisers and other vehicles from Japan, they were amazing trucks especially the turbo diesel manual ones! I have also been reading your M5 restoration thread and its coming along great, when do you plan on updating it?
