Got my steering wheel wrapped!

Finally got my custom wrapped steering wheel today in the mail from Germany! I opted for this option because I didn't want to purchase all the additional parts for the m-sport upgrade. I'm happy with it

I was thinking the same thing. OP needs to replace that with either sport version or M version.

It was 150 euros for the wrap + 34 euros for shipping to the US. This was for the non-sport version but I think their pricing is the same for all. I didn't want to spend extra on a new airbag so I opted for this.

Your wheel looks really nice. Though I have to agree with the others about the airbag looking really ugly. You should have asked if they would have wrapped the airbag for you in Alcantara, it would have looked sick. If it kept my non-sport steering wheel, I would have done this. But I like the shape of the performance wheel

Awesome! I love the performance wheels but the alcantara just wouldn't work in my car. Something like that would be perfect!

It took 3 weeks to ship from Germany. You can either ship them your wheel or do an exchange for 70 that will be refunded.

That is awesome, great pricing too! I got quoted for my E53/E46 steering wheel from a place in Dallas (Dalls Custom Steering Wheels) for about 450 for the exact same looking wheel on the sellers ebay page, I just sent an email to this guy in Germany to see if he has my wheel in stock and could do one for my with black stitching for me.

At your price for the E90 wheel comes out to just over 200 bucks and yours looks more custom, I think that price is more than fair!

From what I saw on sellers site you can buy a wheel ready made and they will send to you, then you send your wheel back as a core. Or you could ship them your wheel, have it recovered, and they ship back to you.

2nd option takes a longer amount of time so some would rather get a new wheel, do the swap and send back core to get refund after.

Did you translate your emails in German to the seller? I sent him message and email on ebay today in English just wanted to make sure I could communicate with him...

They communicate in English. Might be a little broken in grammar but they make it very clear of what they are customizing.

Just got a message back last night from Joanna, she is very clear you are right! I basically want the exact steering wheel in their Ebay store pic but black stitching instead of M tri stitch. You're right, 34 euros for shipping and the ebay listing shows 130 euros for the wheel.

It is absolutely a bargain compared to what you get here, well worth the wait for a few weeks. Your wheel looks awesome btw!

I not completely sure. I asked them and they said they'll "try". The wheel is thicker than stock but not by that much.
