Need help with LCI tail light retrofit wiring
I know this subject has been talked to death, but I've looked at everything I can find and I'm still having problems. This is a pic of the unaltered harness for the right side inner tail light of a 2007 E90. Left to right- black, brown, yellow, green. Using it like this, only the horizontal bars work and they function as tail lights, which is correct, but no other lights work. All the info I could find says to swap the yellow wire with the green wire, but when I do this the reverse lights function as tail lights and the horizontal bars function as reverse lights. Does anybody have the correct order? Otherwise, it's trial and error. Please don't refer me to older threads. I have looked at all of them and either pictures are missing or it's unclear or I've tried it. I'm looking for someone who has personal experience with this.

The inner tail lights on LCI use the same connector as pre-lci, but the wires are in a different order so if you upgrade to LCI...

Thx. I have 2008 M3 and I think about uprating to LCI lights. For unknown reasons those I was watching on eBay was no compatible with either US cars or M3 cars. Maybe that was the reason for it?
