JB4 Steering Controls Not Coming Up

Have to bring the car into the dealership tomorrow so i'm in the process of clearing codes before i take it out, but when i try to access the menu by pressing down the volume and channel buttons nothing happens. Anyone know why?

EDIT: WORKING FINE NOW

What was the issue? Sometimes it takes me 2-3 tries to get into the menu

i had to turn the engine on, guess it doesnt work when you only hit the start button once without your foot on the break
