The FI is an incredible looking wheel But is is not a BBS MotorSports wheel. To be within those weights for the E92 M3 application you must be at less than 600kg load rating based on that design and using 6061-T6. BBS states this wheels are not recommend for track use and are limited for road use only.

the FI wheels are NOT die forged, they are designed, tested and produced in the motorsports department by the same people making wheels for Formula 1 and other race series. Also, the FI wheels for BMW are made specifically for the M3 and are load rated @ 600 kg for the front and 650 kg for the rear BBS states that they are not for track use, because they make producs that are designed specifically for racing. They would not sell FI wheels to racing teams, They would make them specific racing wheels. However, the wheels are safe for mixed road and track usage. All this info/specs come straight from BBS USA |

I want to see more 18" wheels put on the scale, please! The 19's are so not practical for Chicago. The streets are horrible!

btw, they are not the usual lipped wheels, but the lightweight factor plus SSR's proprietary manufacturing methods, make this a sinister wheel for performance on the 3 series.
