Evening all,

Car - 320si 54k

Tyres - Falken Fk452 (120 miles so far on them, same psi as oem BS's)

issue - Had kds (found no issue). Steering checked by sytner (no issue). Ride on the non run flats so much more compliant, little less sharp on turn in but not too much of a problem. Still find i have to fight to keep it straight on less than smooth roads! I've heard on tyre review sites that the falkens can tramline a bit but i'm not seeing much of an improvement over the oem BS's. Car seems to pull to the left the same as it did before as well.

Do i just wait for them to bed in more after a couple of hundred miles or is there something wrong with my steering still, not very technical on these things. Heard about adjusting toe in more etc.

Any advice on this matter would be truly appreciated

A sticking brake caliper will cause some odd pulls.
So will worn or damaged bushes, particularly the rear toe control arms

Thanks for the reply, i think bmw would have checked worn bushes the last time it went to sytner for the steering complaints i have mentioned?? I think this might be the next step to look into tho.

Went on national tyres website and they advised for my reg 35psi front 39 for the rears. They were set at 31 front and 34 rear.

Just corrected them and the tramlining is still there but the steering doesn't feel so heavy now in a good way. Guess i'll have to drive it more to see what its like.

Still pulling quite a bit on rough roads, shall i up the front psi to try and stop this darned tramlining. Must admit it feels like night and day on the handling front compared to the run-flat oem's

You should not have to up the psi to get rid of tramlining.

I have never had an issue of that nature with the Falkens.

Dunno what to suggest though.

Yeah your probably right, driving today felt quite bouncy so i think a swift drop in psi tomorrow is in order lol. Been through every avenue apart from changing bushes etc so will see after a couple a hundred miles of scrubbing in will improve things
