FYI - NJ troopers have to abid by a no chase rule. If a trooper throws his lights on when your speeding and you keep going, 90% of the time they won't pursue (base will tell them back down). Too dangerous to chase a guy for speeding.

Although they will review their car camera to get your license plate.

but then again, you'll probably have to be at least going 130-140mph the rest of the way for at least another 15-20 min.. if you hit traffic on the way.. you're dead man... at least some jail time + license revoke + misc other fines.

IMO.. not worth it.. just stop and pay the damn fine.

No tickets were handed out..The only one who got a ticket was a friend in a new G8.. What happend was , some of the guys passed the news van @ 130. I had my son with me so I was pretty civil with the speed.. So is anyone up for the Aug 1 run to the Berwick Armory?? There will be no tolerance for driving like Ricky Bobby this time out..

I have a V1 so I know what it does. What I'm saying is, if they are using laser you will not get a warning ahead of time, by the time they hit you with laser and your detector tells you, they already have your speed. It does work great for radar though, but you still have to use common sense.
