I have a 2009 xi with KW V1s and it made a world of difference. Overall driveability is nice and the car will become much more responsive in the turns. They were fine in the winter and a blast in the spring/summer.

Very close.

Just trying to figure out who will do the install.

As for buying the car...not sure.

Many different options:

Buy the car and add a few mods
Lease a new 4 series
Buy a used M5

Plus I want to look into used Audi S5 and the new Mercedes CLA AMG

Should be fun choosing.

Do it man. KW v1 will completely change the look of your car (for the better). I did it as well and couldn't be any happier!

Banchwerks in Providence, RI can easily do the install. Should be about an hour per corner....

Placing the order today and Dave is doing the install on Sunday.

I'll be sure to post before and after pics.

I am really looking forward to seeing and feeling the difference.

Thanks to everybody for their input and "push".

Make sure you are happy with the drop before you head out of there so that you save yourself a trip back.

I wanted to have a one finger gap all around so that's what I have now. Since you are purchasing new coilovers, you may want to add a little height in the drop to compensate for the springs settling in after a week or two.

^ Agreed... though they are adjustable... it isn't as easy as you would think.

Good advice.

I will be thinking about how much drop all week.

Probably wouldn't hurt to spend some time looking at pics of various drops.

I have it about finger gap all around too, nothing is tucked in and I personally think it looks great at this height

Received the KW v1 coilover kit yesterday.

Thanks to Tiago at VRSF for a super easy and smooth transaction.

I hope that the install with Dave on Sunday is equally as smooth and easy.

That's about $400 more than we sell them for

My car is an XI MSport stock suspension. I consider the ride harsh and find myself cringing at the uneven pavement transitions when driving on the highway.

How would the K1 coilovers experience be different for me? Thanks.

Do you still have the stock runflats on the car? If so, that's the main thing causing the rough ride.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong... all XIs have the same suspension, even if it's sport. I have the sport package but I'm pretty sure there was nothing different with the suspension.

It's likely the runflats if you're running them like Mr. Bong suggested.

+1

Going from the stock runflats to Michelin Pilot Super Sports was a HUGE difference!

Only time the runflats will be back on the car is if I turn it in at lease end.

I can't wait to get rid of the runflats but they have another few thousand miles on them.

Agreed on the suspension packages. All the same.
