JB3 1.22 or Procede V3 Rev1
I am wanting to pick up a used tune. I see that there are a few JB3 1.22 and Procede V3 Rev 1 for sale. Which of two would be a better tune to go with in regards to power and diagnostic invisibility? Everything thing else will be stock on my 6MT. Thanks in advance

Those systems are very comparable in price used, really can't go wrong either way.
With the JB3, you can update it to 1.3 or the latest 1.4 beta for free by sending the chip in to BMS to be flashed, or having someone with a burner flash it for you. So you'll have a fully supported production system. 1.2 is pretty invisible but 1.3 is much better, so update it if you go the JB3 route. Mike |

Save yourself lots of headache a go with JB3. You can update to the latest maps for free if you have someone with a chip burner in your area. However the update to RevII would cost you a pretty penny and possibly something else...

Legitimate question about used tunes - Rev I, while still functional cannot be updated with the latest Rev II features. If you want a Procede, I would highly suggest the Rev II to save the expense of the BT tool.
You can't go wrong with the JB3 and then update to the latest and greatest chip at a very minimal cost. |
