CIC Emulator Wiring
I think I have a faulty emulator but wanted to confirm the wiring with someone before I send it back.
I've wired the 12v and the ground to their respective wires on the car, they are merged with the 12v and ground not cut, so they 'tap in' to the wires. I then cut wire leading to pin 9 and wire leading to pin 11. Each wire from the emulator is then attached to the relevant side of the cut wires, sending the signal through the emulator and through to the CIC. Is this wiring correct? Thanks. |

The problem I have is that my car reports CAN signal errors on a diagnostic when the emulator is wired in, service lights all over the dash too. I'm stumped. |
