Cheapest way to drop suspension on an e90 LCI ?
Just curious, what are some reasonable to low priced aftermarket options for an e90 LCI suspension drop ? (preferably from a known brand).
Thanks ! |

The eibach matched dampers and springs ~ 600 dollars at tire rack seems to be a good option, assumig you don't want your ride to go to hell.
If you don't care about ride comfort, go with something like h&r sport springs and expect your car to ride like shite |

i tried doing the same thing, i want a cheap solution to lower my car. every one the forums said dont just get springs you need to pair it with shocks. so i did and i couldnt be happier. the suspension is such a key element to how the car drives that you dont want to have ass the job. coilover may be overkill but the cheapest option is springs and shocks.

Try old performance dampers with sport springs and front lower perches, you will be surprised on how well it performance for a fraction of price

Don't go with just springs unless you really want to cut down the life of your Shocks and struts.
Do it right go with either coilovers, the H&R touring cup kit, or the Eibach pro system kit. |

you have a lot of power, match it to the suspension now - at the very least put in springs and shocks that are designed and matched for your car. If you skimp on this, you will be disappointed and will have wasted any savings when you have to redo it. You have a nice car... don't F it up. I would advise for you to search, search and search, and pick a PROVEN solution - and talk to Harold about his least expensive solution - then you know what a designed solution will cost you. Edit; find someone to take you for a drive in that modded suspension... if you can. Everyone has this wonderful image in their heads as to what their car will perform like - you have no idea until you get in a car that has it done.
