My 58 plate E90 doesn't have a glovebox torch socket, just a blanking plate.
Does anybody know if the wiring is still there behind that plate anyway? Before I rip it out for no reason?

I've found an old torch and socket y'see!

Is it a small blanking plate..... you've probably got the newer glovebox, where they stopped the torch & where the blanking plate is - the USB port for the CIC goes.

Yes, it's a small blanking plate on the far right if the box

Then, no torch wiring will be behind the glovebox & the torch won't even fit.
