You mean the successor to the E92?
The 4 series chassis is definitely not the inheritor of the e9x chassis and never will. Even if you based that on looks the 4 anything loses.

I say the 4series looks better in every way. The e92 is starting to look dated

Agreed. I'll take a 2 series over the 4 series for my personal taste.

Just because you do not prefer the styling of the 4 series does not determine that it is not the replacement.

Any install guides available to look through or photos of the turbo? Does it include a new exhaust manifold also or we need to figure out a way to connect the new turbo to the original exhaust manifold? Super interested, hoping that a BEF comes available for the F models too so we can get all the cars ready to go

The turbo/exhaust manifold are all one piece. With the stage 1 you just replace the compressor side and exhaust turbine, with stage 2 you replace the whole turbo/manifold.

Dude, the 4 looks absolutely terrible and the chassis is not as balanced as anything in the e9x class.

Now on the other hand, the 1 series looks terrible but was a decent platform, the 2 series is clearly the inheritor in that case. Better chassis, styling and overall finish.

You can not say that from 3 to 4 series. Hell the whole F series (except M) is a fail IMO. Softened up and no longer for the enthusiast....a car for the population, and that sucks.

The PURE Stage 2 install is the same procedure as installing a OE stock turbo. Everything on the turbo fits 100% the same as the stock turbo and also looks 100% same when installed. The installation takes around 7 hours.

Terry's latest JB4 firmware is running VERY well on the F-series with PURE Stage 2. Great boost control, and clean logs running 20+ psi. 3.5 bar N20 tmap sensor support now too.

That is your opinion. I think the 4 series looks really really good.. Look at Jason's 435i from BMS for example.. And where did you get your information that the f chassis is not as balanced as the old 3 series?

Only thing going for it is the steering feel but you do learn to love the electric steering.

This thread is about Pure Stage 2 and not a comparison between different BMW models.
